Our current CE suite of solutions features customizable solutions for call recording, data capture, quality assurance, interview recording, interoperability and enhanced CAD. Our Customer Service Team provides installation, training and 24/7/365 proactive support. CE proudly serves Public Safety, Child Advocacy, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, Transportation and Contact Centers.
Commercial Electronics provides reliable, customized call recording system technology with customized solutions and proactive support. CE installs and services systems and equipment in virtually every industry that has a need for call recording, quality assurance monitoring, screen capture and call accounting.
In 1959, CE was founded as Industrial Radio Company and became a service organization for General Electric Mobile Communications. In 1984, we became Commercial Electronics Corp. and expanded sales and service into other areas beyond two-way radio. This included the mobile telephone industry, as well as design and implementation of complex public safety communications systems which lead to public safety 9-1-1 recording. In 1997, we added HigherGround Technologies. As we continued worked with Police Departments and Sheriff’s Offices, they shared the need to record custodial interviews. Thus, we entered the interview room recording market in 2008. From there we learned about Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) and the growing need to record the Forensic Interviews of children who had suffered abuse and began working with CACs.
Motivated by many years of experience in reselling and providing customer service for other companies’ products, CE was inspired to create a product of our own. So, in early 2010, CE developed and launched V2 Interview Room Recording Management System, a newly designed digital system. CE continues to improve and develop V2 with the goal of staying on the cutting edge of recording technologies and providing a remarkable advantage for our customers. V2 now features HD recording, Remote/Start Stop along with Mobile and Enterprise options. V2 has two product lines. V2 Advocate focuses on the providing the best system for Child Advocacy Forensic Interviews and V2 Shield focuses on serving Law Enforcement.
A banner year for solution expansion was 2018. In that year, CE added iNEMSOFT (interoperability) and Genesis Pulse (CAD Enhancement). In addition, CE launched our own Quality Assurance Program, CEQIP, to meet the QA needs of PSAPS with third party QAE and Protocol Consulting. Believing that we could enable our customers to get even more from our solutions, CESKOPE Training program was launched to provide additional training opportunities through regular webinars and flexible group trainings. In its initial year, the first webinars offered have focused on HigherGround, with expanded sessions to be added in 2019.
